The Origin

Once I was appointed CEO of a company to turn it around. Needless to say, I had no clue about the industry. To top it off, it was in a country where I did not speak the language fluently and, though familiar with it, I didn’t have a complete grasp of its culture. So how did I deal with the situation? Like in many similar circumstances, I turned back to learning, to acquiring that extra knowledge. What I learned in Business School or University was valuable but there are things they don’t teach you or subjects you need to keep updated as they are ever changing.

I have always been attracted to learning and skills development. Whether as an Entrepreneur, CEO, University instructor, or mentor, I have experienced the different aspects of learning and education. I have listened and exchanged with many C-Level Executives and Leaders, across many countries and cultures. I have heard the complexities of their mandate, their constraints and their need to get that extra knowledge to better shape the future of their companies.

ProEd Learning is the result of this 25+ years of experience. And I want to share it with you.

The Corporate Learning Pyramid
